The testing methods of aluminum coil mainly include appearance testing, size deviation testing, mechanical property testing, chemical composition analysis and hardness test and other important items.
Specifically, the appearance test mainly observes whether there are cracks, skinning, bubbles, corrosion, scratches and other defects on the surface of the aluminum coil. While the dimensional deviation detection involves the inspection of length, width, thickness, etc., such as using vernier calipers to measure the cross-section outer dimensions and thickness dimensions of aluminum profiles, and measuring the length dimensions with a tape measure.
Mechanical properties testing is to assess the strength, hardness, toughness and other indicators of aluminum coil, which usually need to be carried out with the help of professional equipment and instruments. Chemical composition analysis is to determine the various elements contained in the aluminum coil and their proportions through laboratory tests, which is also an important basis for judging the quality of aluminum coils.
Finally, the hardness test is used to measure the hardness value of aluminum coils to understand their resistance to compression.
